If you have read “The Middle Mom” you know about the song “Father”. Carson Harper (who is the son of some of our dearest friends Dr. Richard and Kim Harper) wrote a song for Serenity’s adoption. It was a song written in her honor, but on a larger scale it is the cry of children both in our country and elsewhere who are in need of a forever family. Carson recorded it for me and Richard (who although in real life is a brilliant Ophthalmic surgeon, but is always willing to use his ‘video’ talents for the cause!) set our Heart Gallery to the score. I wanted to share it with you today in hopes that it will bless your heart. Please pass it on to anyone and everyone who might make it their mission to be a Father, or Mother to a deserving child.
Although many of the children in the video have been placed for adoption or (unfortunately) aged out of the system, I pray they will be a representation of the 125,000 children in our nation that are still in need of a forever family.
It’s National Adoption Month…let’s get radical.

Thank you for posting this. I hope that it inspires more people to adopt the children waiting in our own country.
